arthamidvā u arthina ā jāyā yuvate patim tuñjāte vṛṣṇyaṃ payaḥ paridāya rasaṃ duhe vittaṃ me asya rodasī
Whether for wealth or for another object, O youthful lord, you attain progeny. The milking cow gives forth the flowing juice; let lightning be his wealth, O radiant one of the dew.
Those who seek for wealth, obtain it; a wife enjoys (the presence of) her husband, and from their union progeny is engendered. Heaven and earth, be conscious of this (my affliction).
Surely men crave and gain their wish. Close to her husband clings the wife. And, in embraces intertwined, both give and take the bliss of love. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.
