स॒त्तो होता॑ मनु॒ष्वदा दे॒वाँ अच्छा॑ वि॒दुष्ट॑रः । अ॒ग्निर्ह॒व्या सु॑षूदति दे॒वो दे॒वेषु॒ मेधि॑रो वि॒त्तं मे॑ अ॒स्य रो॑दसी
satto hotā manuṣvadā devām̐ acchā viduṣṭaraḥ agnirhavyā suṣūdati devo deveṣu medhiro vittaṃ me asya rodasī
Being the oblation, the sacrificer speaks among men and chooses the gods; Agni, invoked in offerings, makes the gods prudent — grant me this wealth of hers, O Rodaśī.
May that wise and liberal Agni, a sage amongst the gods, seated at our rite, as at the sacrifice of Manu, be the invoker of the deities, and offer them oblations. Heaven and earth, be conscious of this (my affliction).
Here seated, man-like as a priest shall wisest Agni to the Gods Speed onward our oblations, God among the Gods, intelligent. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.
