navyaṃ tadukthyaṃ hitaṃ devāsaḥ supravācanam ṛtamarṣanti sindhavaḥ satyaṃ tātāna sūryo vittaṃ me asya rodasī
New is that well-spoken praise, praised by the gods, a good utterance. The Sindhavas have perceived ṛta and truth; the sun, O father, is this wealth of hers — grant it to me, O Rodaśī.
That new praiseworthy and commended (vigour) is seated in you, ye Gods, (by which) the rivers urge on the waters, and the sun diffuses his constant (light). Heaven and earth, be conscious of this (my affliction).
Firm is this new-wrought hymn of praise, and meet to be told forth, O Gods. The flowing of the floods is Law, Truth is the Sun's extended light. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.
