May she, bearer of life, confidently bestow vigour like a stalwart lance; the wise one, like a thunderbolt, pierced the foe and increased the splendid glory of heaven and Indra.
Armed with the thunderbolt, and confident in his strength, he has gone on destroying the cities of the Dasyus. Thunderer, acknowledging (the praises of your worshipper) cast, for his sake, your shaft agains the Dasyu, and augment the strength and glory of the Ārya.
Armed with his bolt and trusting in his prowess he wandered shattering the forts of Dasas. Cast thy dart, knowing, Thunderer, at the Dasyu; increase the Arya's might and glory, Indra.
