tvāyendra somaṃ suṣumā sudakṣa tvāyā haviścakṛmā brahmavāhaḥ adhā niyutvaḥ sagaṇo marudbhirasminyajñe barhiṣi mādayasva
Through you, O Indra, the Soma flows sweetly; through you the sacrificial rite is fashioned, bearer of Brahman. Arrange for us the union with the Maruts; in this sacrifice, with the heroes, bring delight to us with the offering.
Desirous of you, Indra, who are possessed of excellent strenghth, we pour forth to you libations desirous of you, who are obtained by prayer, we offer you oblations; therefore, do you, who are possessed of horses, sit down with plural asure upon the sacred grass, attended by the Maruts, at this sacrifice.
We, fain for thee, strong Indra, have pressed Soma, and, O thou sought with prayer, have made oblations. Now at this sacrifice, with all thy Maruts, on sacred grass, O team-borne God, rejoice thee.
