स सू॒नुभि॒र्न रु॒द्रेभि॒रृभ्वा॑ नृ॒षाह्ये॑ सास॒ह्वाँ अ॒मित्रा॑न् । सनी॑ळेभिः श्रव॒स्या॑नि॒ तूर्व॑न्म॒रुत्वा॑न्नो भव॒त्विन्द्र॑ ऊ॒ती
sa sūnubhirna rudrebhirṛbhvā nṛṣāhye sāsahvām̐ amitrān sanīḷebhiḥ śravasyāni tūrvanmarutvānno bhavatvindra ūtī
He, swift with sons, with Rudras and with heroes, unassailable in battle, cast out our enemies; by the fierce ones’ songs, Maruts elder-born, may he become like Indra who rises up.
Mighty with the Rudras, as if with his sons, victorious in battle over his enemies, and sending down with his co-dwellers (the waters which are productive of) food; Indra, associated with the Maruts, be our protection.
Strong with the Rudras as with his own children, in manly battle conquering his foemen ' With his close comrades doing deeds of glory,-may Indra, girt by Maruts, be our succour.
