O you having eyes like lotus petals, it is only by celibacy, by penances, by Truth, by self-control, by gifts, by various kinds of righteous deeds, by sojourns lo sacred waters, in fact, by severe austerities and righteous deeds well-performed, that one can attain to Goloka.
