मत्तवहिणसंघुष्टकोकिलैश्च सदामदैः। गृहैरादर्शविमलैर्विविधैश्च लतागृहैः॥ मनोहरैचित्रगृहैस्तथाजगतिपर्वतैः। वापीभिर्विविधाभिश्च पूर्णाभिः परमाम्भसा॥ सरोभिरतिरम्यैश्च पद्मोत्पलसुगन्धिभिः। हंसकारण्डवयुतैश्चक्रवाकोपशोभितैः॥ रम्याश्च विविधास्तत्र पुष्करिण्यो वनावृताः। तडागानि च रम्याणि बृहन्ति सुबहूनि च॥
These verdant groves were resounded with the notes of the maddened peacocks and Kokilas. There were various pleasure houses bright as mirrors and innumerable bowers of creepers, charming artificial hillocks, many lakes full to the brim with crystal water and delightful tanks fragrant with lotuses and lilies and adorned with swans, ducks and Chakravakas.
