The lord said: The devotee shall keep awake during the night by playing on various musical instruments such as Bherī, Mṛdaṅga, Muraja, Timirā, Paṭaha, etc. He shall effect other types of sounds too. He shall duly pray. Accompanied by his servants, sons, wife, relatives and kinsmen he shall circumambulate the excellent Liṅga and pray thus:—
