Sūta said: May the lord Nandin dispel all sins; Nandin the son of Śālaṅkāyana, originating from the path of the ploughshare, the son-in-law of the Maruts, the lord of all Bhūtas, the all-pervasive, one who has eyes everywhere; the lord who is like the lord of all, may he dispel sins. He is the lord of the three worlds eulogised by Devas including Nārāyaṇa, Indra, moon, sun, Siddhas, Yakṣas, Gandharvas, Bhūtas, the creators of Bhūtas, serpents, sages and the noble-souled Brahmā. He is stationed in the harem of the lord. He is always worshipped by all.
