Sūta said:: One shall abstain from taking any sort of food whatsoever and cast off one’s vital breaths in a holy centre of Śiva. O excellent sages, he shall attain Sāyujya with Śiva. He who cuts off his pair of legs and stays in the holy centre of Śiva, attains oneness with Śiva. No doubt need be entertained in this regard. The vision of a holy centre is meritorious. The entrance therein is hundred times more meritorious. The touching and the circumambulation is hundred times more meritorious. The ablution in the waters is hundred times more meritorious than that.
