Sūta said: Rāma, the best among them, had great splendour and excellent valour. After killing Rāvaṇa in battle and performing sacrifices Rāma who was conversant with Dharma ruled over the kingdom for ten thousand years. A son well known as Kuśa was born to Rāma. His other son Lava was highly blessed, truthful and intelligent. Atithi was born to Kuśa and his son was Niṣadha.
