It should be noted that the planets beginning with Bhārgava (Venus) are known as star-planets (i.e planets resembling stars). Persons who are affected by afflictions from their birthday stars are liberated from that defect by devotion to their respective planets. Among all the planets the first one, it is said, is Āditya (Sun).
