Brahmā said: (She further created) Vāmā, Raudrī, Mahāmāyā, Vaiṣṇavī the lotus-eyed goddess, Kalavikariṇī, Kālī residing in the lotus, goddess Balavikariṇī, Balapramathinī, Sarvabhūtadamanī, (the suppressor of all living beings) and Manonmanī. Similarly thousands of other women were created by her. Accompanied by those ladies and the Rudras, Mahādeva, Parameśvara. the lord of the three worlds stood in front of lord Brahmā, Parameṣṭhin who was the soul of all but was now lying dead.
