Sūta said: Four Prasthas filled with water make one (?) Nālikoccaya. It contains four holes totally extending to four Aṅgulas. Each hole is as big as a Māṣa of gold (?) During, the days when day and night are of equal duration two Nālikas (a period of twenty-four minutes) make one Muhūrta. This calculation is always in accordance with the peculiar movement of the Sun.
