The sage said:: (Defective Text). It is possible to mention proof (?) for the fact that the period after Mahāpadma and ending with the Āndhra kings is remembered as comprising eight hundred and thirty-six years. This has already been mentioned. This period has been calculated by well-known sages conversant with Purāṇas.
