The sage said:: Thus the Kṣatriya clan originating from Manu and Aila (Pururavas) has been recounted. Henceforth, I shall narrate to you the lineage of king Bṛhadratha of Magadha, especially the kings of the past, present and future born in the race of Jarāsandha, in the family of Sahadeva, in accordance with their importance.
