Sūta said:: Men are those who aspire for virtue, wealth, love and salvation, Therefrom are born Suras and Asuras who are the category Arvāksrotas (in whom current of nutriment flows downward). They are born among human beings again and again for the achievement of specific objects. Thus the origin of the different races has been enumerated in detail.
