Sūta said:: They can traverse all the worlds. Their procedure is like that of the Devas. She had other children also viz seven daughters. Listen (to their names) in order viz. Ālambā, Utkacā, Utkṛṣṭā, Nirṛtā, Kapilā, Śivā and the extremely fortunate Keśinī. These are remembered as the seven sisters who created progeny from whom Gaṇas were evolved. It was from them that group of Rākṣasas was born—Rākṣasas who were ferocious in battle and destroyers of the congregations of people, as well as the splendid groups of Rākṣasas.
