Bṛhaspati said:: Food stuffs are of various kinds: those that should be chewed and eaten, that should be drunk like liquids, Coṣyas where the juice is sucked up as in the case of mango fruits, Lehyas which should be licked up. (All these varieties of foodstuffs must be given in Śrāddha).
