Sūta said: Vasiṣṭha, Śakti, Parāśara, the fourth one Indrapramati, the fifth one Bharadvasu, the sixth one Maitrāvaruṇi and the seventh one Kuṇḍina—these seven members of the family of Vasiṣṭha should be known as expounders of Brahman.
