Sūta said:: In the first Tretā Yuga, those Mantras along with Tāraka (i.e. Oṃkāra) and other examples manifested themselves without any conscious effort or previous knowledge, unto the seven sages and Manu. That is because of the penance performed by them and their saintly endeavour.
