।।9.9।। --,न च माम् ईश्वरं तानि भूतग्रामस्य विषमसर्गनिमित्तानि कर्माणि निबध्नन्ति धनंजय। तत्र कर्मणां असंबन्धित्वे कारणमाह -- उदासीनवत् आसीनं यथा उदासीनः उपेक्षकः कश्चित् तद्वत् आसीनम्? आत्मनः अविक्रियत्वात्? असक्तं फलासङ्गरहितम्? अभिमानवर्जितम् अहं करोमि इति तेषु कर्मसु। अतः अन्यस्यापि कर्तृत्वाभिमानाभावः फलासङ्गाभावश्च असंबन्धकारणम्? अन्यथा कर्मभिः बध्यते मूढः कोशकारवत् इत्यभिप्रायः।।तत्र भूतग्राममिमं विसृजामि उदासीनवदासीनम् इति च विरुद्धम् उच्यते? इति तत्परिहारार्थम् आह --,

9.9 O Dhananjaya, na ca, nor do; tani, those; karmani, actions-which are the sources of the creation of the multitude of beings uneally; nibadhnanti, bind; mam, Me, who am God.
