।।10.2।। --,न मे विदुः न जानन्ति सुरगणाः ब्रह्मादयः। किं ते न विदुः मम प्रभवं प्रभावं प्रभुशक्त्यतिशयम्? अथवा प्रभवं प्रभवनम् उत्पत्तिम्। नापि महर्षयः भृग्वादयः विदुः। कस्मात् ते न विदुरित्युच्यते -- अहम् आदिः कारणं हि यस्मात् देवानां महर्षीणां च सर्वशः सर्वप्रकारैः।।किञ्च --,
10.2 Na sura-sanah, neither the gods-Brahma and others; viduh, know;-what do they not know?-me, My; prabhavam (prabhavam), majesty, abundance of lordly power-or, derived in the sense of 'coming into being', it means origin.
