आदिमध्यान्तरहितं प्रभावं अनुत्तमम्। तस्य लिङ्गस्य माहात्म्यं वक्ष्याम्यहं समासतः॥
ādi-madhyānta-rahitaṁ prabhāvaṁ anuttamam tasya liṅgasya māhātmyaṁ vakṣyāmy ahaṁ samāsataḥ
I shall briefly recount the greatness of that Linga whose power is without beginning, middle, or end — unsurpassable.

निर्गुणं ब्रह्म तं देवं सर्वसाक्षिणमव्ययम्। शिवं शंकरमनन्तं शिवाख्यं परमं पदम्॥
nirguṇaṁ brahma taṁ devaṁ sarva-sākṣiṇam avyayam śivaṁ śaṁkaram anantaṁ śivākhyaṁ paramaṁ padam
That God who is the attribute‑less Brahman, the witness of all and imperishable — Shiva, Shankara, the infinite — that supreme state is called Śiva.
Salutation to Maheshvara — The Great Lord

नमो महेश्वराय देवाय परमात्मने। सर्वव्यापिने शिवाय सर्वभूतेश्वराय च॥
namo maheśvarāya devāya paramātmane sarva-vyāpine śivāya sarva-bhūteśvarāya ca
Salutations to Maheshvara, the Lord, the Supreme Self; to the all‑pervading Shiva, the Lord of all beings.
