देवस्य त्वा सवितुः प्रसवेऽश्विनोर्बाहुभ्यां पूउष्णो हस्ताभ्याम। आ ददेऽदित्यै रास्नाऽसि।
Devasya tvā savituḥ prasave'śvinorbāhubhyā≈ pūuṣṇo hastābhyām. Å dade'dityai rāsnā'si.
For the god Savitṛ at the birth, the Ashvins by the arms, Pūṣṇá by the hands: to Aditya you gave the morsel.

Come hither, O Aditi; come, O Sarasvatī. Come, O hopes; indeed come, O hopes.

LokgsUṛo āśvibhyā≈ pinvasva sarasvatyai pinvasvendrāya pinvasva. Svāhendravat svāhendravat svāhendravat.
O world-invoker, rain by your horses; pour forth for Sarasvatī, pour forth for Indra, pour forth. Svāha like Indra, svāha like Indra, svāha like Indra.

यस्ते स्तनः शशयो यो मयोभूउर्यो रत्नधा वसुविद्यः सुदत्रः। येन विश्वा पुष्यसि वार्याणि सरस्वति तमिह धातवेऽ कः। ऊर्वन्तरिक्षमन्वेमि।
Yaste stanaḥ śaśayo yo mayobhūuryo ratnadhā vasuvidyaḥ sudatraḥ. Yena viśvā puṣyasi vāryāṇi sarasvati tamiha dhātave' kaḥ. ūrvantarikṣamanvemi.
Whoever is your breast, moon, and who became my abundant one, treasure-holder, possessor of wealth, generous—by whom you nourish all the waters and Sarasvatī: who is that deity present here? I traverse the high firmament.

यमाय त्वाऽङ्गिरस्वते पितृमते स्वाहा। स्वाहा घर्माय स्वाहा घर्मः पित्रे।
Yamāya tvā'Δgirasvate pitṛmate svāhā. Svāhā gharmāya svāhā gharmaḥ pitre.
For Yamā, to you, O Angiras, to the ancestral mind: svāhā. Svāhā to the heat, svāhā the heat is for the father.

विश्वाऽआशा दक्षिणसद विश्वान देवानयाडिह। स्वाहाकृतस्य घर्मस्य मधोः पिबतमश्विना।
Viśvā'āśā dakṣiṇasad viśvān devānayāŒiha. Svāhākṛtasya gharmasya madhoḥ pibatamaśvinā.
All hopes, the right-hand seat, all the gods come hither. For the heat formed by svāhā, may the Ashvins drink the mead.

दिवि धाऽइमं यज्ञमिमं यज्ञं दिवि धाः। स्वाहाऽग्नये यज्ञियाय शं यजुर्भ्यः।
Divi dhā'ima≈ yaj¤amima≈ yaj¤a≈ divi dhāḥ. Svāhā'gnaye yaj¤iyāya śa≈ yajurbhyaḥ.
In heaven uphold this sacrifice, this sacrifice, heaven upholds. Svāhā to Agni, to the sacrificer: the auspicious (śa) to the yajus priests.
Yajurveda 38.12 — Ashvinau Devate

आश्विना घर्मं पातंम हार्द्वानमहर्दिवाभिरूउतिभिः। तन्त्रायिणे नमो द्यावापृथिवीभ्याम।
āśvinā gharma≈ pāta|m hārdvānamahardivābhirūutibhiḥ. Tantrāyiṇe namo dyāvāpṛthivībhyām.
Ashvins, the heat, protect the fallen, the strong ones, the radiant ones with your mighty rays. Salutation to the binder (Tantrāyin), to heaven and earth.

आपातामश्विना घर्ममनु द्यावापृथिवीऽ अमंम्साताम। ईहैव रातयः सन्तु।
āpātāmaśvinā gharmamanu dyāvāpṛthivī' ama|msātām. īhaiva rātayaḥ santu.
From the waters, O Ashvins, grant heat unto heaven and earth, unto the waters of men. May night gods indeed be here.
Yajurveda 38.14 — Dyava-prithivi Devate

ईषे पिन्वस्वोर्जे पिन्वस्व ब्रह्मणे पिन्वस्व क्षत्राय पिन्वस्व द्यावापृथिवीभ्यां पिन्वस्व। धर्मासि सुधर्माऽमेन्यस्मे नृम्णानि धारय ब्रह्म धारय क्षत्रं धारय विशं धारय।
īṣe pinvasvorje pinvasva brahmaṇe pinvasva kṣatrāya pinvasva dyāvāpṛthivībhyā≈ pinvasva. Dharmāsi sudharmā'menyasme nṛmṇāni dhāraya brahma dhāraya kṣatra≈ dhāraya viśa≈ dhāraya.
Grant vigor, bestow energy on Vṛjī, on Brahman, on Kṣatra, on heaven and earth. You are dharma, best dharma; sustain us with men—sustain brahman, sustain kṣatra, sustain the world.

स्वाहा पूउष्णे शरसे स्वाहा ग्रावभ्यः स्वाहा प्रतिरवेभ्यः। स्वाहा पितृभ्यऽ ऊ उ र्ध्वबर्हिर्भ्यो घर्मपावभ्यः स्वाहा द्यावापृथिवीभ्यांम स्वाहा विश्वेभ्यो देवेभ्यः।
Svāhā pūuṣṇe śarase svāhā grāvabhyaḥ svāhā pratiravebhyaḥ. Svāhā pitṛbhya' ū u rdhvabarhirbhyo gharmapāvabhyaḥ svāhā dyāvāpṛthivībhyā|m svāhā viśvebhyo devebhyaḥ.
Svāhā to Pūṣan, to Śarasa; svāhā to the herds, svāhā to the guardians. Svāhā to the fathers, to those above and below, to the heat-bearers and fire-givers; svāhā to heaven and earth; svāhā to all the gods.

स्वाहा रुद्राय रुद्रहूउतये स्वाहा सं ज्योतिषा ज्योतिः। आहः केतुना जुषतांम सुज्योतिर्ज्योतिषा स्वाहा। रात्रिः केतुना जुषतांम सुज्योतिर्ज्योतिषा स्वाहा। मधु हुतमिन्द्रतमेऽ अग्नावश्याम ते देव घर्म नमस्तेऽ अस्तु मा मा हिंम्सीः।
Svāhā rudrāya rudrahūutaye svāhā sa≈ jyotiṣā jyotiḥ. āhaḥ ketunā juṣatā|m sujyotirjyotiṣā svāhā. Rātriḥ ketunā juṣatā|m sujyotirjyotiṣā svāhā. Madhu hutamindratame' agnāvaśyāma te deva gharma namaste' astu mā mā hi|msīḥ.
Svāhā to Rudra, to Rudra’s invoked one; svāhā to luminous light. Let the banner be pleasing; splendid light, O svāhā. Let night be pleased similarly. May the sweet offering be for Indra's foremost; O gods, we must compel the fire—hail the heat, be not harmful to us.

आभीमं महिमा दिवं विप्रो बभू उ व सप्रथाः। ऊत श्रवसा पृथिवींम संम सीदस्व महांनऽअसि रोचस्व देववीतमः। वि धूउममग्नेऽअरुषं मियेध्य सृज प्रशस्त दर्शतम।
ābhīma≈ mahimā diva≈ vipro babhū u va saprathāḥ. ūta śravasā pṛthivī|m sa|m sīdasva mahā|n'asi rocasva devavītamaḥ. Vi dhūumamagne'aruṣa≈ miyedhya sṛja praśasta darśatam.
Mighty is thy majesty, O god, the priest became renowned with hymns. O hearer, seat upon the earth with glory; shine, O best of gods. O Agni, remove the smoke, arise, create exalted sight and manifest excellence.
Yajurveda 38.18 — Yajna Devata

या ते घर्म दिव्या शुग्या गायत्र्यांम हविर्धाने। सा तऽआ प्यायतां निष्ट्यायतां तस्यै ते स्वाहा। या ते घर्मान्तरिक्षे शुग्या त्रिष्टुभ्याग्नीध्रे। सा तऽआ प्यायतां निष्ट्यायतां तस्यै ते स्वाहा। या ते घर्म पृथिव्यांम शुग्या जगत्यांम सदस्या। सा तऽआप्यायतां निष्ट्यायतां तस्यै ते स्वाहा।
Yā te gharma divyā śugyā gāyatryā|m havirdhāne. Sā ta'ā pyāyatā≈ niṣṭyāyatā≈ tasyai te svāhā. Yā te gharmāntarikṣe śugyā triṣṭubhyāgnīdhre. Sā ta'ā pyāyatā≈ niṣṭyāyatā≈ tasyai te svāhā. Yā te gharma pṛthivyā|m śugyā jagatyā|m sadasyā. Sā ta'āpyāyatā≈ niṣṭyāyatā≈ tasyai te svāhā.
May that divine, excellent heat of yours, in the Gayatṛ (offering) in the havirdhāna, come and be established—svāhā to her. May that excellent heat of yours in the mid-air, in Triṣṭubh and Agnidhrā, come and be established—svāhā. May that excellent heat of yours on earth, member of the world, come and be established—svāhā.
Yajurveda 38.19 — Yajna Devata

क्ष्त्रस्य त्वा परस्पाय ब्रह्मणस्तन्वं पाहि। विशस्त्वा धर्मणा वयमनु क्रामाम सुविताय नव्यसे।
Kṣtrasya tvā paraspāya brahmaṇastanva≈ pāhi. Viśastvā dharmaṇā vayamanu krāmāma suvitāya navyase.
Protect the kṣatra for mutual safeguard; sustain the brahman. By righteousness be wide, we shall proceed rightly for well-being; you are renewed.
Yajurveda 38.20 — Yajna Devata

चतुःस्रक्तिर्नाभिरृतस्य सप्रथाः स नो विश्वायुः सप्रथाः स नः सर्वायुः सप्रथाः। आप द्वेषोऽअप ह्वरोऽन्यव्रतस्य सश्चिम।
Catuḥsraktirnābhirṛtasya saprathāḥ sa no viśvāyuḥ saprathāḥ sa naḥ sarvāyuḥ saprathāḥ. āpa dveṣo'apa hvaro'nyavratasya saścima.
Four-rayed is the navel of the ritual, O saprathā; may it be to us universal life, may it be our all-life. From waters, hatred; from waters, the striking wind of another vow is to the west.
Yajurveda 38.22 — Yajna Devata

आचिक्रदद वृषा हरिर्महान मित्रो न दर्शतः। संम सूउर्येण दिद्युतदुदधिर्निधिः।
ācikradad vṛṣā harirmahān mitro na darśataḥ. Sa|m sūuryeṇa didyutadudadhirnidhiḥ.
He bestowed heroic bulls; Hari, the great friend, did not appear. Together with the sun he shone, blazing like a heap—treasure.
Yajurveda 38.23 — Apah Devata

सुमित्रिया नऽआपऽओषधयः सन्तु दुर्मित्रियास्तस्मै सन्तु योऽस्मान द्वेष्टि यं च वयं द्विष्मः।
Sumitriyā na'āpa'oṣadhayaḥ santu durmitriyāstasmai santu yo'smān dveṣṭi ya≈ ca vaya≈ dviṣmaḥ.
May friendly herbs not be harmful; may hostile ones be harmful to him who hates us and to whom we are hostile.
Yajurveda 38.24 — Savita Devata

ऊद्वयं तमसस्परि स्वः पश्यन्तऽउत्तरम। देवं देवत्रा सूउर्यमगन्म ज्योतिरुत्तमम।
ūdvaya≈ tamasaspari svaḥ paśyanta'uttaram. Deva≈ devatrā sūuryamaganma jyotiruttamam.
Both of us, dispelling darkness, behold the higher region. The god among gods goes to the sun, the highest light.

एधोऽस्येधिषीमहि समिदसि तेजोऽसि तेजो मयि धेहि।
Edho'syedhiṣīmahi samidasi tejo'si tejo mayi dhehi.
Below, O bearer, you are ruler; you are radiance, place your radiance in me.
Yajurveda 38.26 — Indra Devata

यावती द्यावापृथिवी यावच्च सप्त सिन्धवो वितस्थिरे। तावन्तमिन्द्र ते ग्रहमू उ र्जा गृह्णाम्यक्षितं मयि गृह्णाम्यक्षितम।
Yāvatī dyāvāpṛthivī yāvacca sapta sindhavo vitasthire. Tāvantamindra te grahamū u rjā gṛhṇāmyakṣita≈ mayi gṛhṇāmyakṣitam.
As long as heaven and earth, as long as the seven rivers stand spread, so long, Indra, may I seize your mighty mights; take hold of what is seen in me.
