तेजोऽसि शुक्रममृतमायुष्पाऽआयुर्मे पाहि। देवस्य त्वा सवितुः प्रस्सवेऽश्विनोर्बाहुभ्यां पूउष्णो हस्ताभ्यामाददे।
Tejo'si śukramamṛtamāyuṣpā'āyurme pāhi. Devasya tvā savituḥ prassave'śvinorbāhubhyā≈ pūuṣṇo hastābhyāmādade.
You are radiant, immortal, long-lived; preserve my life. From the gods to you, O Savitṛ, at birth the Aśvins gave strength: they gave warmth from their hands.

ईमामगृभ्णन रशनामृतस्य पूउर्व ऽआयुषि विदथेषु कव्या। सा नोऽअस्मिन्त्सुतऽआ बभूउवऽ ऋतस्य सामन्त्सरमारपन्ती।
īmāmagṛbhṇan raśanāmṛtasya pūurva 'āyuṣi vidatheṣu kavyā. Sā no'asmintsuta'ā babhūuva' ṛtasya sāmantsaramārapantī.
Take these foremost portions of ambrosial food in ancient life, O poets among the Vidathas. May she who praises us become a herald of ṛta, spreading the circle of the chant.

आभिधाऽअसि भुवनमसि यन्ताऽसि धर्ता। स त्वमग्निं वैश्वानरंम सप्रथसम गच्छ स्वाहाकृतः।
ābhidhā'asi bhuvanamasi yantā'si dhartā. Sa tvamagni≈ vaiśvānara|m saprathasam gaccha svāhākṛtaḥ.
You are proclaimed, you are the world, you are the movers, the support. You, Agni Vaiśvānara, go forward with the foremost ritual—made with svāhā.

स्वगा त्वा देवेभ्यः प्रजापतये ब्रह्मन्नश्वं भन्त्स्यामि देवेभ्यः प्रजापतये तेन राध्यासम। तं बधान देवेभ्यः प्रजापतये तेन राध्नुहि।
Svagā tvā devebhyaḥ prajāpataye brahmannaśva≈ bhantsyāmi devebhyaḥ prajāpataye tena rādhyāsam. Ta≈ badhāna devebhyaḥ prajāpataye tena rādhnuhi.
Bring thy progeny to the gods, to Prajāpati; I will offer a steed to the gods and Prajāpati—thus be appeased. Bind them for the gods and Prajāpati; by that appease them.

प्रजापतये त्वा जुष्टं प्रोक्षामीन्द्राग्निभ्यां त्वा जिष्टं प्रोक्षामि वायवे त्वा जुष्टं प्रोक्षामि विश्वेभ्यस्त्वा देवेभ्यो जुष्टं प्रोक्षामि सर्वेभ्यस्त्वा देवेभ्यो जुष्टं प्रोक्षामि। योऽ अर्वन्तं जिघांन्सति तमभ्यमीति वरुणः। परो मर्तः परः श्वा।
Prajāpataye tvā juṣṭa≈ prokṣāmīndrāgnibhyā≈ tvā jiṣṭa≈ prokṣāmi vāyave tvā juṣṭa≈ prokṣāmi viśvebhyastvā devebhyo juṣṭa≈ prokṣāmi sarvebhyastvā devebhyo juṣṭa≈ prokṣāmi. Yo' arvanta≈ jighā|nsati tamabhyamīti varuṇaḥ. Paro martaḥ paraḥ śvā.
To Prajāpati I cast you as chosen; to Indra and Agni I cast you as dear; to Vāyu I cast you as chosen; to all the gods I cast you as fit. He who seeks the one who strives, Varuṇa says: the other is mortal, the foremost is surpassing.

आग्नये स्वाहा सोमाय स्वाहापां मोदाय स्वाहा सवित्रे स्वाहा वायवे स्वाहा विष्णवे स्वाहेन्द्राय स्वाहा बृहस्पतये स्वाहा मित्राया स्वाहा वरुणाय स्वाहा।
āgnaye svāhā somāya svāhāpā≈ modāya svāhā savitre svāhā vāyave svāhā viṣṇave svāhendrāya svāhā bṛhaspataye svāhā mitrāyā svāhā varuṇāya svāhā.
Svāhā to Agni; svāhā to Soma; svāhā to Apām; svāhā to Modā; svāhā to Savitṛ; svāhā to Vāyu; svāhā to Viṣṇu; svāhā to Indra; svāhā to Bṛhaspati; svāhā to Mitra; svāhā to Varuṇa.

यते स्वाहा धावते स्वाहोद्द्रावाय स्वाहोद्द्रुताय स्वाहा शूउकाराय स्वाहा शुकृताय स्वाहा निषण्णाय स्वाहोत्थिताय स्वाहा जवाय स्वाहा बलाय स्वाहा विवर्तमानाय स्वाहा विवृत्ताय स्वाहा विधूउन्वानाय स्वाहा विधूउताय स्वाहा शुश्रूउषमाणाय स्वाहा शृण्वते स्वाहेक्षमाणाय स्वाहेक्षिताय स्वाहा वीक्षिताय स्वाहा निमेषय स्वाहा यदत्ति तस्मै स्वाहा यत पिबति तस्मै स्वाहा यन्मूउत्रं करोति तस्मै स्वाहा कुर्वते स्वाहा कृताय स्वाहा।
Yate svāhā dhāvate svāhoddrāvāya svāhoddrutāya svāhā śūukārāya svāhā śukṛtāya svāhā niṣaṇṇāya svāhotthitāya svāhā javāya svāhā balāya svāhā vivartamānāya svāhā vivṛttāya svāhā vidhūunvānāya svāhā vidhūutāya svāhā śuśrūuṣamāṇāya svāhā śṛṇvate svāhekṣamāṇāya svāhekṣitāya svāhā vīkṣitāya svāhā nimeṣaya svāhā yadatti tasmai svāhā yat pibati tasmai svāhā yanmūutra≈ karoti tasmai svāhā kurvate svāhā kṛtāya svāhā.
To whichever (being) svāhā runs: svāhā to the runner, to the swiftly running, svāhā to the benefactor, to the well-made, to the seated, to the arisen, svāhā to the youthful, to strength, to the turning one, to the turned back, svāhā to the disperser, to the dispersed, svāhā to the attentive, to the hearer, to the beholding, to the beheld, svāhā to the seeing, to the blink; what gives, to that be svāhā; what drinks, to that be svāhā; what makes urine, to that be svāhā; to the doer svāhā; to the made svāhā.

तत सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि। धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात।
Tat saviturvareṇya≈ bhargo devasya dhīmahi. Dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt.
That most excellent splendor of Savitṛ we meditate upon, the divine light; may he stimulate our intellects.

देवस्य चेततो महीं प्र सवितुर्हवामहे। सुमतिंम सत्यराधसम।
Devasya cetato mahī≈ pra saviturhavāmahe. Sumati|m satyarādhasam.
From the divine thought the earth arose; we invoke Savitṛ with sacrifice. (Grant) good counsel, truthful devotion.

सुष्टुतिंम सुमतीवृधो रातिंम सवितुरीमहे। प्र देवाय मतीविदे।
Suṣṭuti|m sumatīvṛdho rāti|m saviturīmahe. Pra devāya matīvide.
We invoke Savitṛ for excellent praise and good intellect, for peace. To the divine, dispenser of thought.

रातिंम सत्पतिं महे सवितारमुप ह्वये। आसवं देववीतये।
Rāti|m satpati≈ mahe savitāramupa hvaye. Åsava≈ devavītaye.
I call Savitā, the great protector, for peace and the good lord. May the draught remove malice; to the god who knows the sacrifice, svāhā.

देवस्य सवितुर्मतिमासवं विश्वदेव्यम। धिया भगं मनामहे।
Devasya saviturmatimāsava≈ viśvadevyam. Dhiyā bhaga≈ manāmahe.
Savitṛ’s thought and his purifying draught, the universally divine—by intellect we invoke fortune and mind.

आग्निंम स्तोमेन बोधय समिधानोऽ अमर्त्यम। हव्या देवेषु नो दधत।
āgni|m stomena bodhaya samidhāno' amartyam. Havyā deveṣu no dadhat.
Awaken Agni with our hymn; the bundle of fuel undying. May the oblation be placed on the gods.

स हव्यवाडमर्त्यऽउशिग्दू उ तश्चनोहितः। आग्निर्धिया समृण्वति।
Sa havyavāŒamartya'uśigdū u taścanohitaḥ. āgnirdhiyā samṛṇvati.
He who mixed the oblation, mortal, has been closely approached; Agni grows by intellect.

आग्निं दू उ तं पुरो दधे हव्यवाहमुप ब्रुवे। देवांनऽआ सादयादिह।
āgni≈ dū u ta≈ puro dadhe havyavāhamupa bruve. Devā|n'ā sādayādiha.
I say: Agni, bring that oblation here from before; may he unite us with the gods.
Yajurveda 22.18 — Pavamana Devata

आजीजनो हि पवमान सूउर्यं विधारे शक्मना पयः। गोजीरया रंम्हमाणः पुरन्ध्या।
ājījano hi pavamāna sūurya≈ vidhāre śakmanā payaḥ. Gojīrayā ra|mhamāṇaḥ purandhyā.
The invigorating-born ones indeed make the sun shine by power; milk by the strength of the cow; O Purandhiya, harnessing the cows.

विभू उ र्मात्रा प्रभू उ ः पित्राऽश्वोऽसि हयोऽस्यत्योऽसि मयोऽस्यर्वाऽसि सप्तिरसि वाज्यसि वृषाऽसि नृमणाऽअसि। ययुर्नामाऽसि शिशुर्नामाऽस्यादित्यानां पत्वान्विहि। देवाऽ आशापालाऽएतं देवेभ्योऽश्वं मेधाय प्रोक्षितंम रक्षतेह रन्तिरिह रमतामिह धृतिरिह स्वधृतिः स्वाहा।
Vibhū u rmātrā prabhū u ḥ pitrā'śvo'si hayo'syatyo'si mayo'syarvā'si saptirasi vājyasi vṛṣā'si nṛmaṇā'asi. Yayurnāmā'si śiśurnāmā'syādityānā≈ patvānvihi. Devā' āśāpālā'eta≈ devebhyo'śva≈ medhāya prokṣita|m rakṣateha rantiriha ramatāmiha dhṛtiriha svadhṛtiḥ svāhā.
He whose magnificence is measure and lordship: you are horse, you are ox, you are this chariot, you are food, you are wealth, you are strength, you are kine, you are men. You are named youth, named progeny, fallen are the Adityas. Gods, keep this horse given to the gods for wisdom; keep it, protect it here—joy, delight, steadfastness, established vow, svāhā.

विश्वो देवस्य नेतुर्मर्तो वुरीत सख्यम। विश्वो राय ऽइषुध्यति द्युम्नं वृणीत पुष्यसे स्वाहा।
Viśvo devasya neturmarto vurīta sakhyam. Viśvo rāya 'iṣudhyati dyumna≈ vṛṇīta puṣyase svāhā.
All are leaders of the god; the mortal may win friendship. May all kings choose the radiant heaven; may you be favourable, svāhā.

Prācyai diśe svāhā'rvācyai diśe svāhā dakṣiṇāyai diśe svāhā'rvācyai diśe svāhā pratīcyai diśe svāhā'rvācyai diśe svāhodīcyai diśe svāhā'rvacyai diśe svāhordhvāyai diśe svāhā'rvācyai diśe svāhā'vācyai diśe svāhā''rvācyai diśe svāhā.
Svāhā to the eastern direction, svāhā to the western; svāhā to the southern and to the western; svāhā to the northern and to the western; svāhā to the upward and to the western; svāhā to the downward and to the western; svāhā to the unspoken and to the western—svāhā.

Pṛthivyai svāhā'ntarikṣāya svāhā dive svāhā sūuryāya svāhā candrāya svāhā nakṣatrebhyaḥ svāhā'dbhyaḥ svāhauṣadhībhyaḥ svāhā vanaspatibhyaḥ svāhā pariplavebhyaḥ svāhā carācarebhyaḥ svāhā sarīsṛpebhyaḥ svāhā.
Svāhā to the Earth; svāhā to the Atmosphere; svāhā to the Day; svāhā to the Sun; svāhā to the Moon; svāhā to the stars; svāhā to the waters; svāhā to the herbs; svāhā to the trees; svāhā to the swimmers; svāhā to moving and unmoving creatures; svāhā to reptiles.

Vājāya svāhā prasavāya svāhā'pijāya svāhā kratave svāhā svaḥ svāhā mū u rdhne svāhā vyaśnuvine svāhā'ntyāya svāhā'ntyāya bhauvanāya svāhā bhuvanasya pataye svāhā'dhipataye svāhā prajāpataye svāhā.
Svāhā to wealth; svāhā to birth; svāhā to offspring; svāhā to sacrifice; svāhā to heaven; svāhā to the sky; svāhā to the rising; svāhā to the conqueror of death; svāhā to the controller; svāhā to the end, to the world-ruling, to the lord of the worlds, to Prajāpati.

एकस्मै स्वाहा द्वाभ्यांम स्वाहा शताय स्वाहैकशताय स्वाहा व्युष्ट्यै स्वाहा स्वर्गाय स्वाहा।
Ekasmai svāhā dvābhyā|m svāhā śatāya svāhaikaśatāya svāhā vyuṣṭyai svāhā svargāya svāhā.
Svāhā to the one, svāhā to the twofold, svāhā to the hundredfold, svāhā to the single hundred, svāhā to the ample, svāhā to heaven.
