अतः परं भविष्यान अहं भूपालान कीर्तयिष्यामि। यो ऽयं साम्प्रतम अवनीपतिः परीक्षित तस्यापि जनमेजयश्रुतसेनोग्रसेनभीमसेनाः पुत्राश चत्वारो भविष्यन्ति।।
ataḥ paraṃ bhaviṣyān ahaṃ bhūpālān kīrtayiṣyāmi| yo 'yaṃ sāmpratam avanīpatiḥ parīkṣit tasyāpi janamejayaśrutasenograsenabhīmasenāḥ putrāś catvāro bhaviṣyanti||
Therefore, I will now speak of the future kings. The current ruler of the earth is Parikshit, and from him, four sons will be born: Janamejaya, Shruta Sena, Graha Sena, and Bhima Sena.

तस्यापरः शतानीको भविष्यति। यो ऽसौ याज्ञवल्क्याद वेदम अधीत्य कृपाद अस्त्राण्य अवाप्य विषयविरक्तचित्तवृत्तिश च शौनकोपदेशाद आत्मविज्ञानप्रवीणः परं निर्वाणम आप्स्यति।।
tasyāparaḥ śatānīko bhaviṣyati| yo 'sau yājñavalkyād vedam adhītya kṛpād astrāṇy avāpya viṣayaviraktacittavṛttiś ca śaunakopadeśād ātmavijñānapravīṇaḥ paraṃ nirvāṇam āpsyati||
After him, a king named Shatanika will arise. He will study the Vedas under Yajnavalkya, acquire weapons from Kripa, and, being detached from worldly matters, will attain the ultimate liberation through the teachings of Shaunaka.

ब्रह्मक्षत्रस्य यो योनिर वंशो राजर्षिसत्कृतः क्षेमकं प्राप्य राजानं स संस्थां प्राप्स्यते कलौ ।।
brahmakṣatrasya yo yonir vaṃśo rājarṣisatkṛtaḥ kṣemakaṃ prāpya rājānaṃ sa saṃsthāṃ prāpsyate kalau ||
The lineage of the Brahmins and Kshatriyas, which is honored by royal sages, will attain prosperity in the age of Kali.
