The pillars of Meru rise to a height of one hundred thousand yojanas. In the east is Mandara, in the south is Gandhamādana, and in the west is the broad Parśva, while the northern side is known as Supārśva.

From Jambūdvīpa, there is a great sage named Jambū, whose fruits are as large as great elephants, and they fall on the back of the earth, wilting from all sides.

There is neither sweat nor foul odor, nor old age or loss of senses; from drinking that, pure-minded people are born.
