Light of the sacrifice, beloved honey, father and progenitor of the gods, glorious in might: he gives jewels to the worshippers and bestows precious gifts; desire is the keenest taste to the senses.

Pouring forth, the lord over sacred pitchers resounds like heaven, a hundred-streamed, keen-eyed; Hari dwells in Mitra’s halls, the unafraid ones sit, with floods like oceans.

At the fore of rivers the purifier leads, at the fore speech goes to the foremost herds; you attend the foremost of the sacrifice, great in wealth, armed, Soma praised by companions.
