From both sides the rays of the purified and enduring one go around the firm poles; if Hari is cleansed on the holy place, his being sits in the two wombs in the vessels.

Angiras, the cave-dweller, praised Agni who seeks what is beneficial in forests; born together, the great Angiras, called thousand‑sired, was declared companion by the mighty.

He first sets the banner of the sacrifice, the priestly Agni, into the threefold hands of men; with Indra and the gods he drives the chariot—he sits in the oblation-place, the sacrificer who performs the rite well.
