Untamed steeds do not lie; the enemies tremble and are slain, the divine folk. Both at the gates, O son, strike down the ten—O Vispati, puissant in battle.

This Indra, worshipped in these deities, goes to the sacrificial post; the chiefs invoked Indra near by the sacrificial grass; Indra for the wealth they sought.

Indra, by mighty strength, shone at dawn and scattered shadows; Indra made the sun shine. Through Indra all worlds are bright; they move toward Indra, the well-spirited and the strong.

This light, golden, purifies all enmities for the well-being of pairs; a hero with yoked might does not pass with yoked might. The stream brightens the back; the tawny one is red, the Hari. All forms will be encompassed by seven rows of circles.

He guards the eastern region, the shining chariot endeavors with rays; the divine chariot appears. They, praising Indra, stirred Agni for victory with hymns; the thunderbolt arose, unconsumed, not burnt equally.

You, knowing the merchants’ offerings, cleanse them with mothers, you sustain your own restraint, the law’s powers with fortitude. From the distant place the hymns do not fight here; with threefold elements and fiery ones we set the bright one, we set the strong one.

अग्रेगो राजाप्यस्तविष्यते विमानो अह्नां भुवनेष्वर्पितः । हरिर्घृतस्नुः सुदृशीको अर्णवो ज्योतीरथः पवते राय ओक्यः

A foremost king is spoken of, a chariot offered for the days to the worlds. Hari, fond of ghee, fair of eye, the ocean like a luminous chariot rides, the king moves, O Okya.
