tadidAsa bhuvaneShu jyeShTaM yato jaj~nA ugrastveShanR^imNaH | sadyo jaj~nAno ni riNAti shatrUnanu yaM vishve madantyUmAH
That gave dominion in the worlds, the eldest, because he knew the fierce splendour; immediately the knower seizes, he binds the foes whom all proudly oppose.

They grew strong with corpses, many-yoked; the foe places effort for the servant. Unmoving and moving, clothed, they among you newly led are mighty in pleasures.

You enjoy rites even; all the two-born become threefold. Flavor and the flavored, by sweetness create equally; O sweet, warriors with honey and husbands.

Born together by sacrifice, together by vigor he declared, together aged in strengths; the kindly conqueror rejoicing. The giver Radha praises the desired wealth, urging the army; and the god with the god—true Indu, true Indra.

Place this beam with force; with battling courage, do not abandon the weeping one whose heart is wounded. Put others in the belly, having smeared with love; rouse and restrain the army. Thus God, the true God, Indu — the true Indra.
