May the sweet, honey-bearing Indras press forward to the gods; may the cows and the milch‑maids be placed near the immortal divine. The sacrificial seers, speaking aloud, with their udders flowing and famed streams, calmly rejoiced in the clarified butter.

They anoint, adorn and make equal; they perform rites and smear with fat. From the breath of the Sindhu the falling mouths spread; the golden waters seize the beasts in the waters.

O Brahma‑lord, your sacredness is spread; the Lord surrounds the limbs on all sides. He who does not taste that undying delight with a heated body attains it not; the heard ones bore it carrying it and struck at it.

That stream, sprung from the inner sun, did not cut away vigour; it went forth to the fold — the milking cows, horses: flow like a serpent; OM — flow like a serpent.
