परि॑ प्रि॒या दि॒वः क॒विर्वयां॑सि न॒प्त्यो॑र्हि॒तः । सु॒वा॒नो या॑ति क॒विक्र॑तुः
pari priyā divaḥ kavirvayāṃsi naptyorhitaḥ suvāno yāti kavikratuḥ
Around the dear one the sky's poet sings for us; the youthful seer comes whose craft is exalted.

प्रप्र॒ क्षया॑य॒ पन्य॑से॒ जना॑य॒ जुष्टो॑ अ॒द्रुहे॑ । वी॒त्य॑र्ष॒ चनि॑ष्ठया
prapra kṣayāya panyase janāya juṣṭo adruhe vītyarṣa caniṣṭhayā
You advanced to the offering, drinking for the people, rightly mounted on the hill; you pressed forward with steadfastness.

स सू॒नुर्मा॒तरा॒ शुचि॑र्जा॒तो जा॒ते अ॑रोचयत् । म॒हान्म॒ही ऋ॑ता॒वृधा॑
sa sūnurmātarā śucirjāto jāte arocayat mahānmahī ṛtāvṛdhā
He, born of the pure mother, the warrior, made the great earth shine; the truth-empowered spread abroad.

स स॒प्त धी॒तिभि॑र्हि॒तो न॒द्यो॑ अजिन्वद॒द्रुहः॑ । या एक॒मक्षि॑ वावृ॒धुः
sa sapta dhītibhirhito nadyo ajinvadadruhaḥ yā ekamakṣi vāvṛdhuḥ
With seven counsels he won the hymns, the steed roared upon the hill where one eye increased.

They laid the threefold tribute before the mighty young men; Indu-Indra upheld your vow.

अवा॒ कल्पे॑षु नः पुम॒स्तमां॑सि सोम॒ योध्या॑ । तानि॑ पुनान जङ्घनः
avā kalpeṣu naḥ pumastamāṃsi soma yodhyā tāni punāna jaṅghanaḥ
In the formations of ages our man Soma is the warrior; they struck those renewed thighs again.

नू नव्य॑से॒ नवी॑यसे सू॒क्ताय॑ साधया प॒थः । प्र॒त्न॒वद्रो॑चया॒ रुचः॑
nū navyase navīyase sūktāya sādhayā pathaḥ pratnavadrocayā rucaḥ
You are renewed, you sing the new hymn with the sages' path; brightness shines by striving.

पव॑मान॒ महि॒ श्रवो॒ गामश्वं॑ रासि वी॒रव॑त् । सना॑ मे॒धां सना॒ स्वः॑
pavamāna mahi śravo gāmaśvaṃ rāsi vīravat sanā medhāṃ sanā svaḥ
The purifier, of mighty fame, bound the cattle, horses and herds in heroic array; grant me wisdom and true self.
