आ नः॑ पवस्व॒ धार॑या॒ पव॑मान र॒यिं पृ॒थुम् । यया॒ ज्योति॑र्वि॒दासि॑ नः
ā naḥ pavasva dhārayā pavamāna rayiṃ pṛthum yayā jyotirvidāsi naḥ
Bring us the holy, the purifying, the radiant wealth widespread by which you bestow light upon us.

इन्दो॑ समुद्रमीङ्खय॒ पव॑स्व विश्वमेजय । रा॒यो ध॒र्ता न॒ ओज॑सा
indo samudramīṅkhaya pavasva viśvamejaya rāyo dhartā na ojasā
Indra, conquer the ocean with the purifying power; sustain the realms, O bearer of rays, with vigor.

त्वया॑ वी॒रेण॑ वीरवो॒ऽभि ष्या॑म पृतन्य॒तः । क्षरा॑ णो अ॒भि वार्य॑म्
tvayā vīreṇa vīravo'bhi ṣyāma pṛtanyataḥ kṣarā ṇo abhi vāryam
By your heroism, O brave one, may we be near the foremost; let the invincible bring us abundant draughts.

प्र वाज॒मिन्दु॑रिष्यति॒ सिषा॑सन्वाज॒सा ऋषिः॑ । व्र॒ता वि॑दा॒न आयु॑धा
pra vājaminduriṣyati siṣāsanvājasā ṛṣiḥ vratā vidāna āyudhā
For the seer the sacred chant will shine bright with ritual strength; vows become weapons of life.

तं गी॒र्भिर्वा॑चमीङ्ख॒यं पु॑ना॒नं वा॑सयामसि । सोमं॒ जन॑स्य॒ गोप॑तिम्
taṃ gīrbhirvācamīṅkhayaṃ punānaṃ vāsayāmasi somaṃ janasya gopatim
With these words I invoke and set in place the Soma, guardian of the people.

विश्वो॒ यस्य॑ व्र॒ते जनो॑ दा॒धार॒ धर्म॑ण॒स्पतेः॑ । पु॒ना॒नस्य॑ प्र॒भूव॑सोः
viśvo yasya vrate jano dādhāra dharmaṇaspateḥ punānasya prabhūvasoḥ
He who upholds the world in the vow bestowed the people's duty; he became lord of the dwellings of the worshippers.
