प्र सोमा॑सो अधन्विषुः॒ पव॑मानास॒ इन्द॑वः । श्री॒णा॒ना अ॒प्सु मृ॑ञ्जत
pra somāso adhanviṣuḥ pavamānāsa indavaḥ śrīṇānā apsu mṛñjata
Before the Soma-pressing men, the hymns resounded, the purifying floods refreshed in the waters.

अ॒भि गावो॑ अधन्विषु॒रापो॒ न प्र॒वता॑ य॒तीः । पु॒ना॒ना इन्द्र॑माशत
abhi gāvo adhanviṣurāpo na pravatā yatīḥ punānā indramāśata
Cows came to the Soma-pressers, waters flowed not in vain; again they gave Indra strength.

O Lord of the pressings, for the lifted Soma to Indra the drink was brought; with men you were conducted forth.

tvaṃ soma nṛmādanaḥ pavasva carṣaṇīsahe sasniryo anumādyaḥ
You, Soma, stirred the mortal-kind and the purifiers with your chariot; the swift one incited the worshipful ones.

इन्दो॒ यदद्रि॑भिः सु॒तः प॒वित्रं॑ परि॒धाव॑सि । अर॒मिन्द्र॑स्य॒ धाम्ने॑
indo yadadribhiḥ sutaḥ pavitraṃ paridhāvasi aramindrasya dhāmne
Indra, when clothed in the mountains, you encompassed the pure abode; you embraced Indra’s dwelling.

You stirred the purifier with words that destroy Vṛtra; pure, the consuming fire was wondrously invoked.

शुचिः॑ पाव॒क उ॑च्यते॒ सोमः॑ सु॒तस्य॒ मध्वः॑ । दे॒वा॒वीर॑घशंस॒हा
śuciḥ pāvaka ucyate somaḥ sutasya madhvaḥ devāvīraghaśaṃsahā
Called pure, the consuming one is Soma, the sweet’s source; the gods, heroes, and hymn-praisers glorify him.
