अ॒यं कृ॒त्नुरगृ॑भीतो विश्व॒जिदु॒द्भिदित्सोमः॑ । ऋषि॒र्विप्रः॒ काव्ये॑न
ayaṃ kṛtnuragṛbhīto viśvajidudbhiditsomaḥ ṛṣirvipraḥ kāvyena
This brave, valorous one, terrified of the receiver, the all-conquering Soma, the seer, the priest, sang in verse.

अ॒भ्यू॑र्णोति॒ यन्न॒ग्नं भि॒षक्ति॒ विश्वं॒ यत्तु॒रम् । प्रेम॒न्धः ख्य॒न्निः श्रो॒णो भू॑त्
abhyūrṇoti yannagnaṃ bhiṣakti viśvaṃ yatturam premandhaḥ khyanniḥ śroṇo bhūt
He who makes Agni tremble, who fills the universe, who is like a fast-moving chariot—love-bearing, renowned, he became a receptacle.

त्वं सो॑म तनू॒कृद्भ्यो॒ द्वेषो॑भ्यो॒ऽन्यकृ॑तेभ्यः । उ॒रु य॒न्तासि॒ वरू॑थम्
tvaṃ soma tanūkṛdbhyo dveṣobhyo'nyakṛtebhyaḥ uru yantāsi varūtham
You made Soma slender from those who hate and from others; may you grow mighty and abundant.

त्वं चि॒त्ती तव॒ दक्षै॑र्दि॒व आ पृ॑थि॒व्या ऋ॑जीषिन् । यावी॑र॒घस्य॑ चि॒द्द्वेषः॑
tvaṃ cittī tava dakṣairdiva ā pṛthivyā ṛjīṣin yāvīraghasya ciddveṣaḥ
You are the mind; by your skillful acts you move between heaven and earth, O ruler; the hatred of the hostile has vanished.

अ॒र्थिनो॒ यन्ति॒ चेदर्थं॒ गच्छा॒निद्द॒दुषो॑ रा॒तिम् । व॒वृ॒ज्युस्तृष्य॑तः॒ काम॑म्
arthino yanti cedarthaṃ gacchāniddaduṣo rātim vavṛjyustṛṣyataḥ kāmam
If seekers go seeking the object, they attain delight; from thirsty longing they drink desire.

वि॒दद्यत्पू॒र्व्यं न॒ष्टमुदी॑मृता॒युमी॑रयत् । प्रेमायु॑स्तारी॒दती॑र्णम्
vidadyatpūrvyaṃ naṣṭamudīmṛtāyumīrayat premāyustārīdatīrṇam
He who knew the former gave back what was lost, bestowing life and renewing mortal years; love-lengthened, he crossed the river of adversity.

सु॒शेवो॑ नो मृळ॒याकु॒रदृ॑प्तक्रतुरवा॒तः । भवा॑ नः सोम॒ शं हृ॒दे
suśevo no mṛḷayākuradṛptakraturavātaḥ bhavā naḥ soma śaṃ hṛde
May a well-performer make us gentle, having set his resolved strength; be Soma auspicious in our hearts.

मा नः॑ सोम॒ सं वी॑विजो॒ मा वि बी॑भिषथा राजन् । मा नो॒ हार्दि॑ त्वि॒षा व॑धीः
mā naḥ soma saṃ vīvijo mā vi bībhiṣathā rājan mā no hārdi tviṣā vadhīḥ
Do not let Soma divide us, do not let kings terrify us; do not let the poison of hatred slay us.

अव॒ यत्स्वे स॒धस्थे॑ दे॒वानां॑ दुर्म॒तीरीक्षे॑ । राज॒न्नप॒ द्विषः॑ सेध॒ मीढ्वो॒ अप॒ स्रिधः॑ सेध
ava yatsve sadhasthe devānāṃ durmatīrīkṣe rājannapa dviṣaḥ sedha mīḍhvo apa sridhaḥ sedha
From what lies with the gods in assembly you observed the ill-willed path; O king, do not be hostile: sit—be seated—bring us offerings.
