यदि॑न्द्र॒ प्रागपा॒गुद॒ङ्न्य॑ग्वा हू॒यसे॒ नृभिः॑ । आ या॑हि॒ तूय॑मा॒शुभिः॑
yadindra prāgapāgudaṅnyagvā hūyase nṛbhiḥ ā yāhi tūyamāśubhiḥ
If, O people, Indra came hither to be called by men, come thou here, O lord, to those who are auspicious.

यद्वा॑ प्र॒स्रव॑णे दि॒वो मा॒दया॑से॒ स्व॑र्णरे । यद्वा॑ समु॒द्रे अन्ध॑सः
yadvā prasravaṇe divo mādayāse svarṇare yadvā samudre andhasaḥ
Whether thou wert poured forth in the heaven's stream like wealth, or whether thou wert veiled in the ocean's gloom.

आ त्वा॑ गी॒र्भिर्म॒हामु॒रुं हु॒वे गामि॑व॒ भोज॑से । इन्द्र॒ सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॑
ā tvā gīrbhirmahāmuruṃ huve gāmiva bhojase indra somasya pītaye
May the great singers call thee with chants; I invoke Indra for the drinking of Soma.

आ त॑ इन्द्र महि॒मानं॒ हर॑यो देव ते॒ महः॑ । रथे॑ वहन्तु॒ बिभ्र॑तः
ā ta indra mahimānaṃ harayo deva te mahaḥ rathe vahantu bibhrataḥ
Come, O Indra, bearer of mighty fame and great renown; bearing chariots, bring the prize.

इन्द्र॑ गृणी॒ष उ॑ स्तु॒षे म॒हाँ उ॒ग्र ई॑शान॒कृत् । एहि॑ नः सु॒तं पिब॑
indra gṛṇīṣa u stuṣe mahām̐ ugra īśānakṛt ehi naḥ sutaṃ piba
Indra, proclaim and accept our great hymn; mighty, fierce, ruler of might—come, drink our offered Soma.

सु॒ताव॑न्तस्त्वा व॒यं प्रय॑स्वन्तो हवामहे । इ॒दं नो॑ ब॒र्हिरा॒सदे॑
sutāvantastvā vayaṃ prayasvanto havāmahe idaṃ no barhirāsade
We, bearing sons, invoke thee while offering the oblation; let this prayer be for our prosperity at the sacred altar.

यच्चि॒द्धि शश्व॑ता॒मसीन्द्र॒ साधा॑रण॒स्त्वम् । तं त्वा॑ व॒यं ह॑वामहे
yacciddhi śaśvatāmasīndra sādhāraṇastvam taṃ tvā vayaṃ havāmahe
Since thou art steadfast in enduring fame, O Indra, simple and widespread, we invoke thee with oblation.

इ॒दं ते॑ सो॒म्यं मध्वधु॑क्ष॒न्नद्रि॑भि॒र्नरः॑ । जु॒षा॒ण इ॑न्द्र॒ तत्पि॑ब
idaṃ te somyaṃ madhvadhukṣannadribhirnaraḥ juṣāṇa indra tatpiba
This Soma, pleasant and sweet, with honey-drink for men, Indra, with those who pour, drink it.

विश्वा॑ँ अ॒र्यो वि॑प॒श्चितोऽति॑ ख्य॒स्तूय॒मा ग॑हि । अ॒स्मे धे॑हि॒ श्रवो॑ बृ॒हत्
viśvām̐ aryo vipaścito'ti khyastūyamā gahi asme dhehi śravo bṛhat
All‑wise and mighty, renowned, take hold of our praise; grant us broad fame and hearing.

दा॒ता मे॒ पृष॑तीनां॒ राजा॑ हिरण्य॒वीना॑म् । मा दे॑वा म॒घवा॑ रिषत्
dātā me pṛṣatīnāṃ rājā hiraṇyavīnām mā devā maghavā riṣat
Giver, king of the lands, bestower of golden riches—may the gods not grudge us their bounties.

स॒हस्रे॒ पृष॑तीना॒मधि॑ श्च॒न्द्रं बृ॒हत्पृ॒थु । शु॒क्रं हिर॑ण्य॒मा द॑दे
sahasre pṛṣatīnāmadhi ścandraṃ bṛhatpṛthu śukraṃ hiraṇyamā dade
Over a thousand realms the great, broad moon waxed; he gave bright riches like seed of gold.

नपा॑तो दु॒र्गह॑स्य मे स॒हस्रे॑ण सु॒राध॑सः । श्रवो॑ दे॒वेष्व॑क्रत
napāto durgahasya me sahasreṇa surādhasaḥ śravo deveṣvakrata
May the waters of flood not carry away my strong fame, even by a thousand streams; may sound reach the gods with our praise.
