ए॒तत्त॑ इन्द्र वी॒र्यं॑ गी॒र्भिर्गृ॒णन्ति॑ का॒रवः॑ । ते स्तोभ॑न्त॒ ऊर्ज॑मावन्घृत॒श्चुतं॑ पौ॒रासो॑ नक्षन्धी॒तिभिः॑
etatta indra vīryaṃ gīrbhirgṛṇanti kāravaḥ te stobhanta ūrjamāvanghṛtaścutaṃ paurāso nakṣandhītibhiḥ
These deeds of Indra, the mighty, the singers sing with songs: they extol the vigor and the churned butter, the townsmen and the starry haunts.

नक्ष॑न्त॒ इन्द्र॒मव॑से सुकृ॒त्यया॒ येषां॑ सु॒तेषु॒ मन्द॑से । यथा॑ संव॒र्ते अम॑दो॒ यथा॑ कृ॒श ए॒वास्मे इ॑न्द्र मत्स्व
nakṣanta indramavase sukṛtyayā yeṣāṃ suteṣu mandase yathā saṃvarte amado yathā kṛśa evāsme indra matsva
May those born of good deeds gaze upon Indra with kindly sight; as the waning moon returns, as the emaciated become fat—so grant me, O Indra, strength among men.

आ नो॒ विश्वे॑ स॒जोष॑सो॒ देवा॑सो॒ गन्त॒नोप॑ नः । वस॑वो रु॒द्रा अव॑से न॒ आ ग॑मञ्छृ॒ण्वन्तु॑ म॒रुतो॒ हव॑म्
ā no viśve sajoṣaso devāso gantanopa naḥ vasavo rudrā avase na ā gamañchṛṇvantu maruto havam
Bring to us the gods all brimming with gladness; Vasus and Rudra be present; let the Maruts attend our oblation and hear our hymn.

पू॒षा विष्णु॒र्हव॑नं मे॒ सर॑स्व॒त्यव॑न्तु स॒प्त सिन्ध॑वः । आपो॒ वातः॒ पर्व॑तासो॒ वन॒स्पतिः॑ शृ॒णोतु॑ पृथि॒वी हव॑म्
pūṣā viṣṇurhavanaṃ me sarasvatyavantu sapta sindhavaḥ āpo vātaḥ parvatāso vanaspatiḥ śaṛṇotu pṛthivī havam
May Pūṣan and Viṣṇu accept my offering; may Sarasvatī and the seven rivers, waters, winds, mountains, and Lord of plants listen to the earthward oblation I give.

यदि॑न्द्र॒ राधो॒ अस्ति॑ ते॒ माघो॑नं मघवत्तम । तेन॑ नो बोधि सध॒माद्यो॑ वृ॒धे भगो॑ दा॒नाय॑ वृत्रहन्
yadindra rādho asti te māghonaṃ maghavattama tena no bodhi sadhamādyo vṛdhe bhago dānāya vṛtrahan
If Indra is moved by thy favor, O radiant one, most mighty in bounty, then let him teach us the righteous course of old, the hero who gave and slew the demon.

आजि॑पते नृपते॒ त्वमिद्धि नो॒ वाज॒ आ व॑क्षि सुक्रतो । वी॒ती होत्रा॑भिरु॒त दे॒ववी॑तिभिः सस॒वांसो॒ वि शृ॑ण्विरे
ājipate nṛpate tvamiddhi no vāja ā vakṣi sukrato vītī hotrābhiruta devavītibhiḥ sasavāṃso vi śaṛṇvire
O lord of life, king, declare for us the power of the prize; proclaim the oblation of strength. With invocations and hymn-men hear us, O devas, and satisfy our host.

सन्ति॒ ह्य१॒॑र्य आ॒शिष॒ इन्द्र॒ आयु॒र्जना॑नाम् । अ॒स्मान्न॑क्षस्व मघव॒न्नुपाव॑से धु॒क्षस्व॑ पि॒प्युषी॒मिष॑म्
santi hya1rya āśiṣa indra āyurjanānām asmānnakṣasva maghavannupāvase dhukṣasva pipyuṣīmiṣam
Blessings of the seers are with Indra for the life of men. Look upon us, O generous Indra; accept what we offer, O long-desiring one.

व॒यं त॑ इन्द्र॒ स्तोमे॑भिर्विधेम॒ त्वम॒स्माकं॑ शतक्रतो । महि॑ स्थू॒रं श॑श॒यं राधो॒ अह्र॑यं॒ प्रस्क॑ण्वाय॒ नि तो॑शय
vayaṃ ta indra stomebhirvidhema tvamasmākaṃ śatakrato mahi sthūraṃ śaśayaṃ rādho ahrayaṃ praskaṇvāya ni tośaya
We hymn thee, Indra, with songs; thou art our hundred-minded splendor. Make firm the great beam, O generous one; grant prosperity and refresh us.
