अग्ने॑ पावक रो॒चिषा॑ म॒न्द्रया॑ देव जि॒ह्वया॑ । आ दे॒वान्व॑क्षि॒ यक्षि॑ च
agne pāvaka rociṣā mandrayā deva jihvayā ā devānvakṣi yakṣi ca
Agni the purifier, radiant with feasts, with sweet tongue and resplendent speech, bring the gods and protectors near.

तं त्वा॑ घृतस्नवीमहे॒ चित्र॑भानो स्व॒र्दृश॑म् । दे॒वाँ आ वी॒तये॑ वह
taṃ tvā ghṛtasnavīmahe citrabhāno svardṛśam devām̐ ā vītaye vaha
We anoint you with clarified butter, O shining one, illustrious of hues, manifesting in brightness; carry the gods for the sacrificer in procession.

वी॒तिहो॑त्रं त्वा कवे द्यु॒मन्तं॒ समि॑धीमहि । अग्ने॑ बृ॒हन्त॑मध्व॒रे
vītihotraṃ tvā kave dyumantaṃ samidhīmahi agne bṛhantamadhvare
O poet, we have celebrated you as the sacral purifier, radiant, stirring the heaven; O Agni, we invoke the mighty pathway of yours.

अग्ने॒ विश्वे॑भि॒रा ग॑हि दे॒वेभि॑र्ह॒व्यदा॑तये । होता॑रं त्वा वृणीमहे
agne viśvebhirā gahi devebhirhavyadātaye hotāraṃ tvā vṛṇīmahe
O Agni, clasp with thy flame the gods and the men; we choose thee as priest and sacrificer.

यज॑मानाय सुन्व॒त आग्ने॑ सु॒वीर्यं॑ वह । दे॒वैरा स॑त्सि ब॒र्हिषि॑
yajamānāya sunvata āgne suvīryaṃ vaha devairā satsi barhiṣi
For the sacrificer thou, Agni, art auspicious and strong; carry the oblation to the gods with truth in the hymns and the sacred grass.

स॒मि॒धा॒नः स॑हस्रजि॒दग्ने॒ धर्मा॑णि पुष्यसि । दे॒वानां॑ दू॒त उ॒क्थ्यः॑
samidhānaḥ sahasrajidagne dharmāṇi puṣyasi devānāṃ dūta ukthyaḥ
Thou, Agni, art bearer of the soma and thousands of oblations, nurturing the laws; messenger of the gods, be invoked in praise.

न्य१॒॑ग्निं जा॒तवे॑दसं होत्र॒वाहं॒ यवि॑ष्ठ्यम् । दधा॑ता दे॒वमृ॒त्विज॑म्
nya1gniṃ jātavedasaṃ hotravāhaṃ yaviṣṭhyam dadhātā devamṛtvijam
I, the hotar, invoke the Agni born of the priests, the bestower of offerings; grant thou the immortal gift to the sacrificer.

प्र य॒ज्ञ ए॑त्वानु॒षग॒द्या दे॒वव्य॑चस्तमः । स्तृ॒णी॒त ब॒र्हिरा॒सदे॑
pra yajña etvānuṣagadyā devavyacastamaḥ stṛṇīta barhirāsade
Following the rite, Agni, come forth with the gods; bring forth the sacred grass, ye who speak for the gods.

एदं म॒रुतो॑ अ॒श्विना॑ मि॒त्रः सी॑दन्तु॒ वरु॑णः । दे॒वासः॒ सर्व॑या वि॒शा
edaṃ maruto aśvinā mitraḥ sīdantu varuṇaḥ devāsaḥ sarvayā viśā
May Maruts, the Ashvins, Mitra, and mighty Varuna grant this; may all the gods and the wide world be favorable.
