aśvinā yajvarīriṣo dravatpāṇī śubhaspatī purubhujā canasyatam
The Aśvins, worshipful, swift‑limbed, with flowing hands, lords of fortune; they made the strong‑armed man firm.

The Aśvins granted radiance to the people with heroic vigor, inspiring thought; they stirred the forest of speech.

Ten youths, they of sweet song, famed with oblations and hymns — she who goes, the bringer of Rudra's aid.

Indra, come hither, shining as a banner; these well-born ones have come to you. Purified by linked waters, they are pure.

Indra, come hither, like the bringer of praise, born of the Brahman-kin; grant strength to the sons, do not let ruin come.

omāsaścarṣaṇīdhṛto viśve devāsa ā gata dāśvāṃso dāśuṣaḥ sutam
He who holds the sacred soma and the earth’s charioteer came, all the gods approached him. The tenth portion, the tenth of the worshippers, is offered.

viśve devāso apturaḥ sutamā ganta tūrṇayaḥ usrā iva svasarāṇi
All the gods reached the spot, the foremost of singers came swiftly; like the dawn they dispersed the clouds.

विश्वे॑ दे॒वासो॑ अ॒स्रिध॒ एहि॑मायासो अ॒द्रुहः॑ । मेधं॑ जुषन्त॒ वह्न॑यः
viśve devāso asridha ehimāyāso adruhaḥ medhaṃ juṣanta vahnayaḥ
All the gods, drawn by you like coursers, have come; the sacrificers pour forth the nourishing offering to Agni.

पा॒व॒का नः॒ सर॑स्वती॒ वाजे॑भिर्वा॒जिनी॑वती । य॒ज्ञं व॑ष्टु धि॒याव॑सुः
pāvakā naḥ sarasvatī vājebhirvājinīvatī yajñaṃ vaṣṭu dhiyāvasuḥ
May the purifying Sarasvatī, rich in strength like a charioteer, protect the yajña with her blessings and vigor.

चो॒द॒यि॒त्री सू॒नृता॑नां॒ चेत॑न्ती सुमती॒नाम् । य॒ज्ञं द॑धे॒ सर॑स्वती
codayitrī sūnṛtānāṃ cetantī sumatīnām yajñaṃ dadhe sarasvatī
O inspirer, awakening the silent minds with good counsel, Sarasvatī bestows the yajña—she who kindles understanding.

म॒हो अर्णः॒ सर॑स्वती॒ प्र चे॑तयति के॒तुना॑ । धियो॒ विश्वा॒ वि रा॑जति
maho arṇaḥ sarasvatī pra cetayati ketunā dhiyo viśvā vi rājati
The mighty stream Sarasvatī, by what banner does she rouse the hearts? She proclaims all minds to be victorious.
