śrutā vajreśvarī vidyā brāhmī śakropakāriṇī| anayā sarvakāryāṇi nṛpāmāmiti naḥ śrutam||
The sages said: The Vajreśvarī Vidyā of Brahmā which rendered help to Indra has been heard by us. We have also heard about the affairs of the kings realized through this Vidyā. O Romaharṣaṇa, now recount the mode of application of this Vidyā for different purposes.

विनियोगं वदस्वास्या विद्याया रोमहर्षण। वश्यमाकर्षणं चैव विद्वेषणमतः परम।।
viniyogaṃ vadasvāsyā vidyāyā romaharṣaṇa| vaśyamākarṣaṇaṃ caiva vidveṣaṇamataḥ param||

uccāṭanaṃ staṃbhanaṃ ca mohanaṃ tāḍanaṃ tathā| utsādanaṃ tathā chedaṃ māraṇaṃ pratibandhanam||

senāstaṃbhanakādīni sāvitryā sarvamācaret| āgaccha varade devi bhūmyāṃ parvatamūrdhani||

brāhmaṇebyo hyanujñātā gaccha devi yathāsukham| udvāsyānena mantreṇa gantavyaṃ nānyathā dvijāḥ||

प्रतिकार्यं तथा बाह्यं कृत्वा पश्यादिकां क्रियाम। उद्वास्य वह्निमाधाय पुनरन्यं यथाविधि।।
pratikāryaṃ tathā bāhyaṃ kṛtvā paśyādikāṃ kriyām| udvāsya vahnimādhāya punaranyaṃ yathāvidhi||
Sūta said: After performing ail the preliminary external rites and the rites of enslaving etc. he shall ritualistically dismiss the deity. Then he shall kindle another sacred fire duly. He shall invoke the goddess once again, perform Japa and worship too. He shall duly perform Homa too over again in the fire.

देवीमावाह्य च पुनर्जपेत्संपूजयेत्पुनः। होमं च विधिना वह्नौ पुनरेव समाचरेत।।
devīmāvāhya ca punarjapetsaṃpūjayetpunaḥ| homaṃ ca vidhinā vahnau punareva samācaret||
Sūta said: After performing ail the preliminary external rites and the rites of enslaving etc. he shall ritualistically dismiss the deity. Then he shall kindle another sacred fire duly. सर्वकार्याणि विधिना साधयेद्विद्यया पुनः। जातीपुष्पैश्च वश्यार्थि जुहुयादयुतत्रयम।।
sarvakāryāṇi vidhinā sādhayedvidyayā punaḥ| jātīpuṣpaiśca vaśyārthi juhuyādayutatrayam||
Sūta said: Then he shall accomplish the holy rites with the same mantra. He who seeks ability to enslave others shall perform thirty thousand Homas by means of Jātī flowers.

घृतेन करवीरेण कुर्यादाकर्षणं द्विजाः। विद्वेषणं विशेषेण कुर्याल्लाङ्गलकस्य च।।
ghṛtena karavīreṇa kuryādākarṣaṇaṃ dvijāḥ| vidveṣaṇaṃ viśeṣeṇa kuryāllāṅgalakasya ca||
Sūta said: O brahmins, in the rite of attracting, Homa shall be performed with ghee and Karavīra flower. In the rite of causing hatred, Homa shall be performed with Lāṅgalaka flower. The rite of exorcising shall be performed with oil; the rite of paralysing shall be by means of honey; the rite of deluding with gingelly seeds, that of beating with the blood of a donkey or elephant or camel. The rite of paralysing shall be performed with mustard seeds. The rite of tearing up shall be performed with Kuśa grass. O sages of good holy rites, the rite of killing and exorcising with Rohī[1] seeds,. the rite of binding with Ahipatra[2] and that of making the army stunned with Kunati[3] (trumpet flower). Then he shall perform the worship of Parameśvarī with ghee, for the achievement of all Siddhis. Purification is obtained by Homa with milk pudding.

तैलेनोच्चाटनं प्रोक्तं स्तंभनं मधुना स्मृतम। तिलेन मोहनं प्रोक्तं ताडनं रुधिरेण च।।
tailenoccāṭanaṃ proktaṃ staṃbhanaṃ madhunā smṛtam| tilena mohanaṃ proktaṃ tāḍanaṃ rudhireṇa ca||
Sūta said: O brahmins, in the rite of attracting, Homa shall be performed with ghee and Karavīra flower. In the rite of causing hatred, Homa shall be performed with Lāṅgalaka flower. तिलेन रोगनाशश्च कमलेन धनं भवेत। कान्तिर्मधूकपुष्पेण सावित्र्या ह्ययुतत्रयम।।
tilena roganāśaśca kamalena dhanaṃ bhavet| kāntirmadhūkapuṣpeṇa sāvitryā hyayutatrayam||
Sūta said: The destruction of ailments is caused by gingelly-seeds; wealth can be gained through lotus; splendour with Madhūka flower, Homas in each case being thirty thousand in number, repeating the Sāvitrī mantra. All the rites beginning with Jaya and ending with Sviṣṭa shall be performed as before.

जयादिप्रभृतीन्सर्वान स्विष्टान्तं पूर्ववत्स्मृतम। एवं संक्षेपतः प्रोक्तो विनियोगोतिविस्तृतः।।
