The sage said: Do not grieve, O prince, for the self is not to be denigrated. O Bhagavan, the imperishable is attained from afar.

The Supreme Lord, the ultimate Brahman, by His essence, vanquished the enemies. The wise one, born without a father, came into being for the knowledge of the truth.

By the yoga of knowledge and wisdom, He uplifts the actions of those with matted hair. He is Hiranyakesha, Padmaksha, the one with the lotus seal and lotus feet.

This one, who has entered your womb, is Kaitabhardhana. He will cut the knot of ignorance and doubt and will wander the earth.

This one is the leader of the perfected beings, well-regarded by the Sankhya philosophers. In the world, he is known as Kapila, the one who increases your fame.

To Pulaha, he granted a suitable position, and to the ritual, he gave the action. He also bestowed fame upon Bhrigu and the wife of Vasishtha, Arundhati.

इच्छाद्वेषविहीनेन सर्वत्र समचेतसा। भगवद्भक्तियुक्तेन प्राप्ता भागवती गतिः
Free from desire and aversion, with an even mind everywhere, the devotee of the Lord attains the supreme destination.
