Manu said: Brahma, desiring self-realization, created you from his own face, endowed with the essence of the Vedas and the knowledge of austerity.

तत्त्राणायासृजच्चास्मान् दोःसहस्रात्सहस्रपात्। हृदयं तस्य हि ब्रह्म क्षत्रमङ्गं प्रचक्षते
To protect us, he created us from the thousand-fold fall of the two (aspects). The heart of that Brahman is indeed called the Kshatra (warrior).

By your vision alone, all my doubts are cut off. The Lord himself, out of love, speaks of Dharma, which he wishes to protect.

By good fortune, I have seen the Lord, who is elusive to those without self-realization. By good fortune, the dust of your feet has touched my head, bringing me auspiciousness.

Desire is indeed greater, O divine one, for it is established in the scriptures regarding your daughter. Who would not honor your daughter, as if she were the goddess of wealth herself?

Who would not praise her, the one who is being worshipped by the beautiful maidens with unseen feet, and who is the essence of the beloved of the mind? Let the wise one approach her with devotion.

Therefore, I shall worship the virtuous one at the right time, as long as my own light shines. Therefore, I hold in high regard the principles of righteousness as spoken by the supreme sages, which are non-violent.
