Thus spoke Shuka. When questioned by the Bhagavata, the Lord, remembering His beloved, was unable to respond due to His eagerness.

He who, at dawn, was requested to partake of the five offerings, did not desire it, being engaged in the playful pastimes.

How could he, having aged over time, serve him? When asked, he should remember the feet of his master.

Those who are knowledgeable and mature, and who are devoted to the essence of the Satvatas, all recognize the Supreme Being residing in all beings.

Those who are touched by the divine illusion and depend on other than the truth are bewildered; their intellect does not recognize the words of the Lord.

The one who is fully absorbed in austerity and is not satisfied with the vision of the world, attains the essence of his own reflection.

By exhibiting the power of His own divine illusion in the pastimes of mortals, He is held in the highest position, the ultimate abode of bliss, adorned with the ornaments of fortune.

Observing the auspicious signs during the Rajasuya sacrifice of the son of Dharma, the three worlds are entirely engaged in the creation of the universe, and the skill of the creator is indeed unparalleled.

Those who are immersed in the affectionate laughter and playful glances of the gopis of Vraja, are indeed absorbed in their thoughts, and thus they remain engaged in their activities.

Although the Supreme Lord, who is the source of all beings, is beyond material nature, He manifests in various forms, and His compassionate soul is present even in the most powerful entities, just as fire exists in its essence.

This birth of the unborn one, which causes me distress, is indeed a mockery in the house of Vasudeva; and in Vraja, the fear of enemies is dispelled by the one of infinite prowess.

O Lord, may You be gracious to those who bow down to their parents, remembering You. May You be merciful to those who are troubled by the fear of Kamsa.

Who can forget the dust of His lotus feet, who smells it? The one who, with the arch of His beautiful eyebrows, made the earth tremble at the time of death.

Indeed, you have seen Krishna at the Rajasuya sacrifice, even though He is hated by the enemies. Who can endure the separation from Him, whom the yogis long for with perfect yoga?

Similarly, other heroes of the human world, who in battle drink from the lotus face of Krishna, are purified by His gaze, O Partha.

You, O Lord, are the supreme ruler, the embodiment of all desires, and the source of all prosperity. You are worshipped by the guardians of the worlds and are seated on a throne adorned with countless crowns.

Thus, the pure service of the Lord does not diminish the strength of the devotees, who are firmly situated in the supreme abode, and they are reminded of the divine by the Lord.

Alas, the one who wanted to kill the child with poison in her breast, the wretched one, attained a suitable destination. To whom else shall we go for refuge, O compassionate one?

I believe that the demons, who are absorbed in anger and are devoted to the path of destruction, saw in the battle the son of Garuda, the one with the powerful weapon.

The child, having been engaged by the illusionist King Bhoja, playfully dispelled those who were in the form of desires.

Having captured the serpent king with the poison, he lifted him and cast him down, while the cows remained in their natural state.

The omnipotent one, desiring the wealth of the thief, performed a sacrifice with the best of the twice-born, for the welfare of the cowherd king.

The cowherd, distressed by the wrath of Indra, was overwhelmed. He was protected by the grace of the Lord, who is fond of playful pastimes.

He, adorned with the moonlight of autumn, honored the night with his song, delighting in the circle of women.
