Brahma said: Thus, let the sages who are engaged in yoga chant this. The omnipresent Lord spoke this in response to their praise.

श्रीभगवानुवाच। एतौ तौ पार्षदौ मह्यं जयो विजय एव च। कदर्थीकृत्य मां यद्वो बह्वक्रातामतिक्रमम्
The Supreme Lord said: These two, Jaya and Vijaya, are my attendants. They have been cursed to become enemies of mine, which has led to their great downfall.

यन्नामानि च गृह्णाति लोको भृत्ये कृतागसि। सोऽसाधुवादस्तत्कीर्तिं हन्ति त्वचमिवामयः
The world does not accept the names of those who are ungrateful. Such ungratefulness destroys their fame, just as a disease destroys the body.

यस्यामृतामलयशः श्रवणावगाहः सद्यः पुनाति जगदाश्वपचाद्विकुण्ठः। सोऽहं भवद्भ्य उपलब्धसुतीर्थकीर्ति- श्छिन्द्यां स्वबाहुमपि वः प्रतिकूलवृत्तिम्
In whom the nectar-like glory, upon being heard, immediately purifies the world from the sins of the lowest beings. I am that which destroys the unfavorable actions of those who seek your holy fame.

यत्सेवया चरणपद्मपवित्ररेणुं सद्यः क्षताखिलमलं प्रतिलब्धशीलम्। न श्रीर्विरक्तमपि मां विजहाति यस्याः प्रेक्षालवार्थ इतरे नियमान् वहन्ति
By serving whose lotus feet, one immediately attains purity and is freed from all impurities. Even prosperity does not abandon me, for her glance carries the essence of all rules.

नाहं तथाद्मि यजमानहविर्विताने श्च्योतद्घृतप्लुतमदन् हुतभुङ्मुखेन। यद्ब्राह्मणस्य मुखतश्चरतोऽनुघासं तुष्टस्य मय्यवहितैर्निजकर्मपाकैः
I do not reside in the offerings made by the yajaman, nor in the clarified butter that is poured into the fire. What is offered by a satisfied Brahmin is what I accept, through his own actions.

Those whom I bear, endowed with the undivided glory of the Supreme, are adorned with pure crowns. Who can bear the weight of their worth, for they immediately purify the worlds along with the moon?

ये मे तनूर्द्विजवरान् दुहतीर्मदीया भूतान्यलब्धशरणानि च भेदबुद्.ह्ध्या। द्रक्ष्यन्त्यघक्षतदृशो ह्यहिमन्यवस्तान् गृध्रा रुषा मम कुषन्त्यधिदण्डनेतुः
Those who, with a discriminating mind, see my body as a source of nourishment for the pure-hearted, will witness the wrath of the vultures, who, angered, will devour the sinful.

ये ब्राह्मणान् मयि धिया क्षिपतोऽर्चयन्तः तुष्यद्धृदः स्मितसुधोक्षितपद्मवक्त्राः। वाण्यानुरागकलयाऽऽत्मजवद्गृणन्तः सम्बोधयन्त्यहमिवाहमुपाहृतस्तैः
Those Brahmins who, with devotion, worship me with their intellect, their lotus-like faces smiling with nectar, enlighten me as if I am their own son.

Thus, having attained the grace of my husband, who is unblemished, I shall soon reach your abode, having taken the path that transcends your transgressions.

The sages said: 'O Lord, we do not know what you, the divine one, desire. If you have bestowed your grace upon us, we are grateful.'

Indeed, those who are liberated from death through your grace easily cross over. O yogi, will you not bestow grace upon those who are devoted?

He who is adorned with the wealth of divine glories, and who is worshipped by those seeking wealth with their own heads, like the Lord of Madhu, may he grant us the desire for the abode of the new Tulasi at his feet.

यस्तां विविक्तचरितैरनुवर्तमानां नात्याद्रियत्परमभागवतप्रसङ्गः। स त्वं द्विजानुपथपुण्यरजःपुनीतः श्रीवत्सलक्ष्म किमगा भगभाजनस्त्वम्
He who is followed by those of distinguished character, and who is not disregarded in the discussions of the supreme devotee, you, O Brahmin, are purified by the dust of the feet of the virtuous Lakshmi, what more can be said about you, O devotee of the Lord?

धर्मस्य ते भगवतस्त्रियुग त्रिभिः स्वैः पद्भिश्चराचरमिदं द्विजदेवतार्थम्। नूनं भृतं तदभिघाति रजस्तमश्च सत्त्वेन नो वरदया तनुवा निरस्य
O Lord, the essence of righteousness, this entire world, both moving and non-moving, is sustained by your three forms. Surely, the modes of passion and ignorance affect those who are not endowed with your grace.

न त्वं द्विजोत्तमकुलं यदि हात्मगोपं गोप्ता वृषः स्वर्हणेन स सूनृतेन। तर्ह्येव नङ्क्ष्यति शिवस्तव देव पन्था लोकोऽग्रहीष्यदृषभस्य हि तत्प्रमाणम्
If you are not a Brahmin of the highest lineage, then the protector, the bull, with his good conduct, will not be able to protect you. Thus, the path of your Lord will not be followed, as it is the proof of the great bull.

तत्तेऽनभीष्टमिव सत्त्वनिधेर्विधित्सोः क्षेमं जनाय निजशक्तिभिरुद्धृतारेः। नैतावता त्र्यधिपतेर्बत विश्वभर्तुः तेजः क्षतं त्ववनतस्य स ते विनोदः
That which is not desired by you, may it be fulfilled by the essence of existence; may the strength of your own powers protect the people. The glory of the three rulers of the world is indeed the source of your joy.

यं वानयोर्दममधीश भवान् विधत्ते वृत्तिं नु वा तदनुमन्महि निर्व्यलीकम्। अस्मासु वा य उचितो ध्रियतां स दण्डो येऽनागसौ वयमयुङ्क्ष्महि किल्बिषेण
Whom the Lord of the forest, the master of the mind, creates a livelihood for, may that one be protected from sin, and let us not be afflicted by the punishment of the innocent.

He who is the original cause of the creation and dissolution of the universe, even for the great yogis, is indeed a difficult illusion. He will provide us with well-being, O Lord of the three worlds, what is the significance of this for us?
