Brahma said: The mouth of the Vedic mantras is the field, the seven elements of the verses, and the tongue is the source of all tastes of offerings and food.

सर्वासूनां च वायोश्च तन्नासे परमायने। अश्विनोरोषधीनां च घ्राणो मोदप्रमोदयोः

The eyes of forms and radiance are the eyes of the sun in the sky. The ears are the directions and the sacred places, and the hearing is of the sounds of space. That body is the vessel of wealth.

I am that which is known through the scriptures, which is composed of austerity, and is revered by the progenitors. I do not approach that which is self-born while being focused on the adept yoga.

I am the Lord of sacrifice, these beings are the progenitors, including Daksha and others who are your descendants. The guardians of the heavenly realms, the guardians of the earthly realms, and the guardians of the human realms.

The Gandharvas, Vidyadharas, Charanas, the Yakshas, Rakshasas, Nagas, and their lords; the Rishis, the fathers, the demon lords, Siddhas, and the divine beings. Others include the spirits, ghosts, and creatures of the earth and sky.

Whatever exists in this world, O Lord, is of great power, strength, and endurance. The glory, wealth, and the essence of the self are wondrous and transcendental, embodying the ultimate form.
