Kunti said: I bow to You, the original person, the supreme Lord, who is beyond nature, unseen, and present within and outside all beings.

Concealed by the illusion of Maya, the imperishable Lord, who is beyond ignorance, is not perceived by the foolish, just as an actor is not recognized in a play.

How can we, the pure-hearted sages, see women for the purpose of devotion?

Salutations to Krishna, the son of Vasudeva, the son of Devaki, the son of Nanda Gopa, and Govinda.

Salutations to the lotus-naveled one, to the one adorned with a lotus garland, to the one with lotus eyes, and to you, O lotus-footed one.

Just as Hrisikesa was long imprisoned by the wicked Kamsa, I was liberated along with my sister by you, O Lord.

From the great fire of poison, we were protected by you, O Lord, amidst many great warriors and difficulties in the forest.

May we always be free from calamities, O Guru of the world. May we have the vision of You, which leads to liberation from the cycle of birth and death.

A man who is intoxicated by wealth, birth, knowledge, and beauty is not worthy to describe You, who are beyond the reach of anything.

Salutations to You, who are devoid of material wealth, who are established in the virtues of renunciation, who are self-satisfied, peaceful, and the ultimate reality.

I consider You, O Lord of Time, the eternal, the all-pervading, who moves equally among all beings, and from whom arises the illusion of separation.

No one knows the desires of the Lord, who is beyond the mockery of men, and in whom there is no one to love or hate, for the minds of men are perplexed.

The birth and actions of the universal soul, which is the non-doer of the self, are indeed the utmost deception in the beings that are in the lower forms.

O Gopi, you have given me the rope, and your face, adorned with tears like a river, captivates me. Even in fear, it enchants me, for it is that which makes me tremble.

Some say that the one born of the virtuous Lord is like the sandalwood of Malaya, cherished by the beloved of Yadu.

Others, having been requested by Devaki, approached Vasudeva. You are indeed the unborn one, for the welfare and destruction of the enemies of the gods.

To relieve the burden of the earth, you have indeed taken birth, like a ship in the ocean, burdened by the weight of the world.

In this world, those who are tormented by ignorance, desires, and actions, some say they will perform what is worthy of hearing and remembering.

Those people who listen, sing, and remember your glory constantly, they will soon see your lotus feet, which are the cessation of the flow of worldly existence.

O Lord, do you not wish for our well-being today, or do you wish for the friends who are dependent on you? For them, your lotus feet are the ultimate refuge, not anything else.

Who are we, identified by name and form, alongside the Pandavas? When you are not visible, it is like being commanded by the senses.

This place will not be beautiful, as it is now, O Gada-holder; it shines marked by your feet, distinguished by its own characteristics.

These prosperous regions, rich in excellent herbs, are filled with forests, mountains, and rivers, and they flourish under your gaze.

O Lord of the Universe, the embodiment of the universe, cut this strong bond of affection that ties me to the Pandavas and the Vrishnis.

My mind is exclusively devoted to you, O Lord of honey, and it flows towards you like the Ganges flows towards the ocean.

Salutations to you, O Lord Krishna, friend of the Vrishnis, who is the essence of all beings, the destroyer of the demons, and the supreme teacher of all.

The words of the ruler, who is the protector of the subjects, do not seem to be suitable for the purpose of understanding the killing of enemies in a righteous war.

I cannot disregard the actions of those who betray their relatives and women, though they may be engaged in household duties.

Just as mud cannot be purified by water, nor can the killing of beings be atoned for by sacrifices.
