अ॒यमा या॑त्यर्य॒मा पु॒रस्ता॒द् विषि॑तस्तुपः । अ॒स्या इ॒चछन्न॒ग्रुवै॒ पति॑मु॒त जा॒याम॒जान॑ये ॥१॥
ayama yāty aryamā purastād viṣitastupaḥ | asyā icchann agruvai patim uta jāyām ajānaye |
Here comes Aryaman in front, path‑finder and guide. Seeking this one, I appoint him lord; let me beget wife and offspring.

अश्र॑मदि॒यम॑र्यमन्न॒न्यासां॒ सम॑नं य॒ती। अ॒ङ्गो न्वऽर्यमन्न॒स्या अ॒न्याः सम॑न॒माय॑ति ॥२॥
aśramad iyam aryaman anyāsāṃ samanaṃ yatī. aṅgo nv aryamann asyā anyāḥ samanam āyati.
O Aryaman, this one is unashamed; the others seek a common share. Indeed, O Aryaman, a limb of this one comes yearning for the common share of the others.

धा॒ता दा॑धार पृथि॒वीं धा॒ता द्यामु॒त सूर्य॑म्। धा॒तास्या अ॒ग्रुवै॒ पतिं॒ दधा॑तु प्रतिका॒म्यऽम्॥३॥
dhātā dādhāra pṛthivīṃ dhātā dyām uta sūryam. dhātāsya āgruvai patiṃ dadhātu pratikāmyam.
Dhātṛ upheld the earth, Dhātṛ also the heaven and the Sun. May Dhātṛ appoint for her a husband of choice, to her liking.
